About the Program
- Functions of a PEC

The PEC represents perhaps the most vital part of the management structure in a Fellowship School. In carrying out its duties the PEC:

- Ensures adequate facilities for the classroom, such as desks and chairs for the teachers and students, blackboards, mats, and arrangement for extreme weather conditions, as well as drinking water and toilets,

- Ensures that there are a minimum of 50 girl students and two teachers before the school year commences,

- Monitors that class enrolment does not exceed 35 girls. If the enrolment exceeds 50 girls in the entire school, the PEC encourages the school to hire more teachers,

- Appoints teachers in consultation with the SEF

- Ensures the maintenance of accurate account records and submits annual account statements to Social Welfare Department,

- Guarantees that all social activities undertaken in the school are not averse to the norms of decency, tolerance and national integrity,

- Visits each class on a weekly basis,

- Develops a school management policy in consultation with SEF,
