Six Issues of the Children’s Newsletter have been produced and delivered to RCC partner organizations for distribution to RCC: ECD Programme schools. 

SEF’s advocacy efforts continually aim to establish linkages that would enrich the work of the Foundation and ensure sustainainability of efforts and SEF’s growth as a viable organization not only in the province but also across the country.

Trainings of Early Years Teachers
The Early Learning Program was launched with an objective of improving Early Childhood Education and increasing access to quality education for children at the pre-primary and primary levels. Under the program, a 5 days teacher training was conducted in June 2009 for teachers from 150 schools in districts Tando Muhammad Khan, Badin, Khairpur, Ghotki and Nausheroferoz. 30 lead teachers from each district participated in the trainings. The overarching objective of the training program was to introduce newly appointed teachers to the themes of Early Childhood Development and interactive, child centered and activity based teaching-learning processes. Introduction to the National ECE Curriculum, critical development domains of children and improving classroom practices were some of the core themes that were covered during the training. Day wise training manuals, learning resources and stationery were also provided to teacher trainees by SEF
