Verification surveys planned for SEF Partner Schools under IELP
Working through public private partnerships the IELP Program aims to increase access to education and improve the quality of educational services provided to the children in far-flung and marginalized areas. Through provision of per-child fee subsidy to school operators, the program aims to encourage the private sector to assist the government in addressing quality and access issues in education. Under the program, a baseline survey is being conducted to identify the status (infrastructure, enrolment rates, attendance in classroom etc.) of the 300 existing Partner schools of SEF that will now be supported under IELP. Moreover, a field based verification survey will be initiated in the coming months for selecting 1200 additional schools to be supported under IELP.
