Sindh Education Foundation is not only committed towards the implementation of effective pedagogies but also towards assessing and evaluating the impact of its teaching – learning interventions. In this regard, an exclusive Assessment Unit has been setup in SEF which will primarily work on designing and administering school based assessment programs. Assessment Unit conducted a Three Day “Orientation and Tools Development Workshop” from the 26th to 28th of October, 2010 at a local hotel in Karachi. Among the participants were teachers of PPRS schools from 10 Districts of Sindh, representatives from the media, and local NGOs. The attendees gained insights about Key Learning Areas, Expected Learning Outcomes, Stages of Child Development, Education Assessment, Student’s Achievement Indicators and Different Approaches of Early Childhood Education.
