Six Issues of the Children’s Newsletter have been produced and delivered to RCC partner organizations for distribution to RCC: ECD Programme schools. 
SEF’s advocacy efforts continually aim to establish linkages that would enrich the work of the Foundation and ensure sustainainability of efforts and SEF’s growth as a viable organization not only in the province but also across the country.
 
 
 
SEF & ITA commemorate the Global Action Week 2011

A session was organized at Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) to commemorate the Global Action Week 2011, in collaboration with Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA). The theme for the Global Action Week this year is "Women's and Girls' Education". The event was chaired by Prof. Anita Ghulam Ali, Managing Director, SEF. The participants included members of SEF, ITA and school heads and teachers. The session started by a small introduction to the issue of women's education. The posters made by students on the theme were shared and discussed. The session proceeded by sharing stories of women, especially those in the education sector. Prof. Rehama Mughni (Program Advisor, SEF), Mrs. Sayyed (Principal, Lady Mariam Adamjee Girls' School) and Ms. Zeenat Raza (SEF) shared their views about the importance of female education and the role encouragement and exposure play in shaping up of personality. They emphasized how

Prof. Anita Ghulam Ali in her speech stressed that the nation should benefit from and spread the benefit of the Article 25-A, of education to be a fundamental right for all children of Pakistan. She also emphasized on the importance of lifelong learning.

The participants filled post cards addressed to the President, Prime Minister, Speaker of National Assembly, Provincial Chief Ministers and COAS stressing on Girls’ Right to Education. Petition was also signed by participants regarding awareness of the Article 25-A.

Moreover Prof. Anita Ghulam Ali distributed certificates amongst girls who had participated in the poster competition as a part of the Global Action Week.
