The Support to Private Education Institution Programme with its aim of institutional development, quality advancement and quality assurance will benefit numerous stakeholders through its emphasis on collective learning and growth.
Children
Being the most important stakeholder of any educational intervention, children will benefit from the availability of quality education and a learning environment that enables them to explore their creative interests and diverse learning aptitudes.
Parents
It is an acknowledged fact that parents play a crucial role in their children’s education. Yet, they have, for the most part, been alienated from active participation in their child’s learning. In this regard, SPEIP will focus on increasing active and constructive parental participation within the schools and in their children’s education.
Communities
SPIEP proposes a more enhanced and effective role of communities in education through the provision of platforms to discuss their role in improving the education of their children. This will enable communities to develop a greater sense of ownership and participation in their children’s education.
School Administration
As part of its objectives, SPEIP will train school management and administrative staff with the skills and knowledge considered essential for effective school management. Aside from developing the institutional capacity of schools such trainings will also enable the school staff to involve all relevant stakeholders in the decision making process.
Teachers
As one of its primary objectives, SPEIP will focus on the capacity building of teachers in order to facilitate them in exploring innovative and creative methodologies of teaching and learning. Aside from the professional development of teachers this will also improve the profile of schools by having trained and qualified academic staff.
