Sindh School Education Scholarship Program (SSESP)

INTRODUCTION

The Sindh Education Foundation had initiated its Scholarship Program “Sindh School Education Scholarship Program” (SSESP) in 2017 to honor and to encourage talented students of Sindh Province with and objective to link them with quality institutions across Pakistan to pursue their post-primary education up-to higher secondary level.

SSESP is a fully funded scholarship program running under School Education and Literacy Department Government of Sindh (SE&LD) and managed by Sindh Education Foundation, Government of Sindh. Scholarship program aims to encourage meritorious students academically and socially to find the best opportunities for future success and skilled with the visionary practices, which can help to create their own paths.

Eligibility Criteria:

The basic indicators / selection criteria of awarding scholarships are:

  1. Applicant must be bona fide student of SE&LD or SEF schools and must studied at least 3 academic years in any SEF or SE&LD run School.
  2. Applicant’s father must possess the Domicile of Sindh.
  3. Student must qualify entry test of respective institution and selection is based on “Open Merit”.
  4. Scholarship is offered to the meritorious students of Sindh subject to verification of credentials of students such as:
    • GR,
    • School leaving certificate,
    • Attendance Record of last 3 academic years

Success

It is worth mentioning that 2247 (2017-19)students are studying in above-mentioned Partner Institutes under SSESP, whereas the Government of Sindh through the Sindh Education Foundation, Government of Sindh.

Scholarship Coverage

Foundation bears all the expenses of students average per child per month of a scholar is 19,800, including all expenses such as:

  • boarding & lodging fees,
  • tuition fees,
  • admission fees,
  • monthly stipend PKR. 1,000.
  • Uniforms,
  • transportation cost,
  • shoes, books and other necessary articles for
  • the students.

The date of submission of Admission Form has been extended from 11-04-2022 to 06-05-2022

Applications are invited from meritorious students (residents of Sindh), currently studying in Grade 5, in the schools of the School Education & Literacy Department, GoS, and Sindh Education Foundation, and intend to peruse post primary education in Public School Gadap Karachi.Total 70 Merit- Based Scholarships (50 for Boys and 20 for Girls) are being offered for Grade 6, for the academic year 2022-23. This offer is for the students residing in Karachi East, Karachi West, Karachi South, Karachi Central, Malir, Kemari and Korangi districts of Karachi Division. Students will need to qualify 'Entry Test/Interview conducted by Public School Gadap Karachi.The admissions will depend upon the clearance of the entry test and fulfill the admission criteria of Public School Gadap to qualify for the Scholarship.This will further be subject to verification of documents.
