SEF Takes Steps to Equip Street Children with Basic Education

The Managing Director Sindh Education Foundation, Govt. of Sindh Ms. Naheed Shah Durrani visited the abandoned building at Sehwan for establishment of school for street children in Dadu region at Sehwan.
The purpose of the visit was to protect the street children in the remote areas of the province and to provide them with basic education. As reforms have been introduced in 2015 and Sindh Education Foundation insists on provision of quality education along with proper school environment another reason behind the visit was to assess the quality of education and the environment of schools in that region.
Thus, the Managing Director examined the infrastructure of Qadir Bux Gainchoo School under SEF Assisted Schools (SAS). She also examined academic level from ECE to Grade five and observed the manner in which the teachers operated the A.V rooms.

She interacted with students from Rabdino Ghambeer School under Promoting Private Schools in Rural Sindh (PPRS Phase VI). She emphasized on provision of quality education and on hiring of subject specialist teachers in schools so that qualitative education can be provided in schools.
